Debbie Padden comes to our office with experience in teaching (both young and old learners!), office management and customer service. She is a graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and has continued her training at Seattle Pacific University in Business Administration and Tacoma Community College in Computer Networking.

A Washington native, Debbie is involved with faith-based and philanthropic organizations so that she can "give back" to the Pierce County community and have fun doing so! She has recently taken up cross-country skiing, plays guitar, loves to read and is fixing up her 60 year old house in Tacoma's Hilltop neighborhood.

My mother and a good friend encouraged me to choose a career path in Dentistry a little over 3 years ago while in Denver, Colorado. I have enjoyed many aspects of Dentistry as a Dental Assistant including managing the front office.

One thing that has always drawn me to the Dental field is the ability to help people and develop relationships with them. This has motivated me to always maintain my dedication to Dental Assisting and to have a helpful attitude.

Outside of work, I use my time to volunteer locally in the City of Tacoma which has allowed me to further extend my love of people. In my downtime you'll generally find me in the company of good friends, eating good food.

I graduated in 1997 from Clover Park Technical College from the Dental Assistant Program. It has been a wonderful experience and the best career decision I ever made, I've enjoyed many facets of the dental field such as working in the laboratory, front office, endodontics... you name it, I've done it!

My commitment to Dentistry is evident through my work. I am conscientious and compassionate about my work and the patients we see.

Working along side my fellow teammates makes for a pleasurable day. I've appreciated learning a new aspect of Dentistry and that is working with Dr. Tess at Pearly Whites Laser Dentistry.

In my spare time I can be found spending quality time with family and friends. My Husband and I also love to go backpacking to remote lakes and rivers in Washington.

Learning as a person and in my career is very important to me. Doctor Tess offers me the opportunity to use my skills with laser technology. She has created a workplace that is committed to giving patients the best care and treatment possible. As a team, we encourage and support each other in and out of the office.

I am lucky to have joined the team of Pearly Whites Laser Dentistry last year. I am a graduate of Loyola University in Chicago and before moving to Washington I practiced Dental Hygiene in the states of Arizona and Illinois. My patients give me the opportunity to learn something new each day. They are a joy to help and I want their visit to be with individual care and comfort.

I live on a Lake Union houseboat with my dog, staying close to my two children and new grandchild. I make the trip to Tacoma because of Doctor Tess.
